Miss Kirstie Plimbley

I graduated from university in 2012 from BA Hons Education Studies and Disability Studies. That year I started working as a one to one teaching assistant in the Pre-school and in the out of school club at Black Firs. I had never worked in Early Years before and loved everything about it! For the following two years I worked as TA in the Reception class and then I decided to take the next step and enrol onto the Early Years Teacher Status course.

I am so proud to be a part of the early years team at Black Firs. I work across the foundation stage building with both Preschool and reception every day. I enjoy doing extra-curricular clubs at Blacks Firs, this year I am doing the juniors dance club.

In my spare time I enjoy walking the dogs – I love animals, I also have cats and a hamster. I try to go to the gym but usually end up talking myself out of it!
