Mr Fred Wildgoose

I am one of the teachers in Year 3 & 4. After moving away for a few years to university, I was delighted to return to Cheshire to start teaching in 2014 after completing my studies, before moving to Black Firs in September 2016. At university, I studied English Language at Bangor before completing a PGCE degree in Primary Education at Lincoln.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to see the progression, both academically and socially, of so many children every day. I have a passion for the Arts, English and Science, so I'm very pleased to currently be the Science coordinator. If not teaching in school I'm usually drawing weird and wonderful characters for the walls in Year 3 and 4.

Outside of school I enjoy water sports, walking, playing music and climbing. I also enjoy reading, in particular the works of Dickens, J.R.R. Tolkien, Arthur Conan Doyle, Eoin Colfer, Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft.
