Mr Peter Hunter

After an initial career as an aircraft engineer, I retrained as Youth Manager where I worked directly with individuals experiencing difficulties with socialisation and understanding their place in the world as well as managing the team of youth workers.
I believe strongly in the philosophy that young people need nurturing and supporting to help them to flourish. More recently I have supported a variety of SEN children, in particular those with Autism Spectrum Condition, to integrate into school and to progress both academically and emotionally.
I have one son and two grandchildren and have previously fostered a number of children. I now work in the Lower Junior team supporting SEN and all other children. My main interest is in nature, walking, bird watching and cycling.
