Mrs Sarah Blythe

I started working at Black Firs in September 1997. I have spent time working across most year groups throughout the school but currently work in the Year 3/4 team. Alongside working at Black Firs I am a swimming teacher and lead the school swimming, I also teach the learn to swim Scheme at Everybody Leisure. I was a volunteer for Danes Swimming Club for over 8 years and still actively encourage Black Firs children to join a swimming club. I am an active committee member of Black Firs PTA and spent lots of time planning and running fundraising events at Black Firs. I have one daughter, Abi who is now 20, she is an ex Black Firs pupil and I believe Black Firs gave her the confidence and opportunities which have made her into the independent young adult she now is. In my spare time I enjoy getting out and about with my two dogs Bonnie and Betsy and watching Abi play and umpire netball.
