Mrs Viv Quayle

I am one of the teachers in Years 1 and 2 with pastoral responsibility for Year 2. Before entering the teaching profession I had a career in public finance and policy. I am a qualified accountant and worked for a number of large local authorities most recently as Director of Finance in Merseyside.

I love all types of music both listening and playing. I am a member of a female accapella choir and have sung in various groups singing African, Eastern European and Aboriginal harmonies, raising money for Water Aid.

I love reading a variety of genre and am a member of a book club at Keele University. I also enjoy many types of art, travelling and going to the theatre. I play badminton and am a life-long supporter of Stoke City. I have a grown up daughter, Jessica and several step children.

I believe in Aristotle's philosophy that "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all."

I am the School's Special Needs Coordinator, SENDCo
