Mrs Viv Quayle

I am the Year 3 pastoral teacher. I came in to teaching as a career change having worked in the public sector and finance for a number of years. I enjoy "the arts" and in particular visiting art galleries, live musical performance; live theatre; film; architecture and reading a wide variety of literature. I am a member of an accapella choir and a book club based at Keele University.
I also enjoy travelling and live sport. I am a life-long Stoke City supporter. I have a strong interest in psychology and encouraging and supporting children's capacity to manage their mental health.
I believe in Aristotle's philosophy that "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." Being part of developing children's individual values and enrichment is a privilege. I am the school's special needs and disability co-ordinator (SENCO).
